Ages of the pups are 8 to 11 weeks old

VFS has pups available all year round that come only from working dog lines in Europe. You can see from the pedigrees that these are from top competitive working dogs throughout the world. All of our pups come with full health guarantees stated in our contract.

Things you need to consider when buying a puppy:

• All of the pups from VFS come from a long line of working dogs in Europe.


• Our pups have a full series of shots and are wormed weekly at the appropriate age. You will get these records upon delivery.


• All of our pups are AKC registered.


• Our pups at VFS are starting the weaning process at 4 weeks of age.


• Our pups are continually held and interacted with from 2 weeks until they are delivered.


• We start the imprinting process at 4 weeks of age. This includes:
• Socialization with other people
• Chasing a ball
• Rolled towel work to build drive
• We work with them to overcome obstacles appropriate to their age
• We introduce them to a collar and leash as an introduction phase
• We take them out to explore the outside world
• We take them one at a time to teach independence of the pack and to explore on their own
• We have other people come and play with the pups one on one


• After 6 weeks:
• We have a person the pups don’t know do a 10- point selection test for temperament and sound nerves.
• We will be able to tell from these tests what kind of pup we have in relationship to their working ability, their social make up, the drives they may or may not have in place, and what jobs the pup may be most suited for.
• The training continues after the testing phase until we deliver the pups to their new owner.


• We feel at VFS that all of these steps are necessary to provide you with the highest quality of pup possible. We do not consider your request for a pup as a small, insignificant part of our business and we take pride in the pups we produce.
